From 1995 to 2012, Johnny Damon built an accomplished Major League Baseball career, earning All-Star honors in 2002 and 2005 and winning World Series championships with the Boston Red Sox in 2004 and the New York Yankees in 2009.

For Johnny, hydration was never just about drinking something when you were thirsty. Throughout years of training, competition, travel, heat, and long days on the field, he experienced firsthand how important proper hydration is to performance and recovery. Growing up in Central Florida made that need even more apparent, especially for young athletes competing in the state’s heat and humidity.

A-GAME was born from a simple idea: athletes deserved a better hydration option — one that tasted great, supported an active lifestyle, and was made with ingredients consumers could feel good about.

Johnny saw young athletes struggling to stay properly hydrated and recognized an opportunity to create something better. What began as a solution inspired by athletes and local communities in Central Florida became the foundation for A-GAME.

Co-founded by World Series Champion Johnny Damon, A-GAME was created to deliver premium, great-tasting hydration with sea salt, honey, potassium, and essential vitamins — without artificial dyes or preservatives.

But the need for better hydration goes far beyond the playing field. Athletes may have inspired the beginning of A-GAME, but hydration is part of everyday life — from workouts and practices to long workdays, outdoor activities, travel, and time with family.



What started with a focus on young athletes and local schools has grown into a broader mission: making premium hydration accessible to athletes, active consumers, families, and anyone looking to feel and perform at their best.
